News flash: I, Lee Tusman, have sold my 87 Volkswagen Vanagon Vanagallery. I have left Southern California and am traveling around the world for the next 10 months working on art projects, curating and visiting artists, curators, interventionists, pirates, etc doing contemporary urban creative projects in the public sphere. I’m writing this from Seattle now. I drove the Vanagallery, filled-to-the-brim, with art, art books, bikes, music, zines, albums, all the way up to Northern California. I left my things there, and sold my van to a florist. In the following year, I will be traveling in the US, Europe and Asia and working on temporary, mobile art projects and the spirit of the vanagallery will live on.
