Vanagallery

Vanagallery was a Southern Californian mobile art space operating out of a 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon and now lives on as a website documenting mobile art practices. Vanagallery is a project of Lee Tusman in cooperation with many other creative artists, musicians, chefs, zinesters, bikers, hackers, photographers, and other people, maybe even you.

Past Vanagallery projects fell between and amongst the categories of traditional visual art and socio-cultural projects and interventions. Working projects included Painting and Pizza Delivery, guerilla concerts, and portable performances. Vanagallery was sold in November 2010 prior to a 10-month round-the-world trip.
